Blogging Dorset Blogs is about the wonderful county of Dorset and some of the wonderful places and blogs that I discover as I travel around Dorset on weekend jaunts and in my travels through cyberspace.
Places I visit and enjoy will form the main content of the posts, probably weekly. Hopefully, my blogging will give these places extra publicity.
Blogs I visit and like, whether they are commercial or personal, will be added to this blog’s index to show feed titles which hopefully will send the owners of the blogs a few more readers too.
Of course, this list of blogs will always be a personal list. One person could never check out everything that is going on in a diverse county like Dorset.
However, if you like the things I like, you may find following this blog useful. I hope so and I look forward to you coming back often.
Your comments are not only appreciated, they are the most important part of this blog.
If you know of somewhere in Dorset that is worth visiting or a blog that my visitors would like featured, I’d love to hear about it in the comments section.
Blogs are more powerful than static web sites because they enable interaction across the Internet and promote communication. If you would like to communicate with others, whether about your hobby or interests or in connection with your business, it is one of the best routes to take.
I look forward to hearing from you
Bye for now

Rob,
I wonder if you might have a look at my lifeboat based blog and consider it for inclusion here. It gets a reasonable number of readers but more are always welcome!
Many thanks
John
Hi John, I’ve added an RSS feed to you so people can see your latest post.
Personally, I almost get seasick just watching ducks paddling about on a pond so I really appreciate all the good work you lifeboat guys do and the danger you put yourselves in to help seafarers.

Hi
Thought you might be interested in a new film that we’re working on called Morris: a Life with Bells On – http://www.morrismovie.com/ Some of the film was actually filmed in Dorset!
UKTV’s Blighty channel is showing the TV debut of the comedy Brit film and we wondered if you’d be interested in receiving more info?
We’ve got loads of funny clips, and all sorts of content that we can send over, plus it’s nice and seasonal in the run up to the May bank holiday.
Let me know what you think and drop me a line back if you want to know more.
Thanks!
Bex
As a band member of a Morris dancing side (Exmoor Border Morris), I appreciate the work you guys are doing to raise the profile of Morris and have already seen the film.
Good luck with your promotion.
Rob
Hello Rob
You might be interested to have a look at my parents’ blog http://respectorganics.wordpress.com – they run a cake company together in Shaftesbury and my mother and sister also run the Respect Organics Gallery there on the ground floor. Do come and visit – I’m biased but it’s lovely – and for the next couple of weeks they are featuring a special ‘Beside the Sea’ exhibition of my grandfather’s work.
Thanks and all the best!
Kate
